This video is a little different than what you're used to seeing here. No tutorial today, just me sharing something real. I've been on this Macrame journey for a while now, and I've realized my small business isn't where I imagined it would be by this point. So I'm making a change: I'm rebuilding Studio ATK from the ground up. In this video I talk about how it all started, where I lost my way a little, and why I'm choosing to slow down and start simple again. This is the first video in a new series where I'll be sharing the behind-the-scenes of rebuilding my small business, the planning, the ups and downs, and everything in between. In this tutorial, I'm sharing how to make a minimalist Macrame plant hanger using a variation of the Barrel Knot. This is a simple, functional piece with a clean, modern look, and since there's no tassel at the bottom, it has a sleeker, more contemporary feel than a traditional plant hanger. This project is fully beginner-friendly, and it's a great way to practice your knot tension and consistency while learning something a little different.
