color: #000000;\">This knot is often used to attach your cords to a dowel or ring. It\u2019s similar to a regular Lark\u2019s Head Knot, but reversed \u2014 which means the bump (or ridge) sits on the front of your work. It gives a neat, textured start and is perfect for projects where you want a little extra visual detail right from the top.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1641\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; color: #000000;\"><strong data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1320\">Double Half Hitch Knot (DHHK)<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"1320\" data-end=\"1323\" \/><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; color: #000000;\">The Double Half Hitch Knot is one of the most versatile knots in macrame. It\u2019s made by wrapping your working cord twice around a holding cord, creating a strong horizontal or diagonal line. You can use it to form outlines, define shapes (like the edges of your witch hat!), or add beautiful structure to your design.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1948\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; color: #000000;\"><strong data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1665\">Chinese Crown Knot<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"1665\" data-end=\"1668\" \/><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; color: #000000;\">This knot is a lovely decorative knot that creates a rounded, woven texture \u2014 almost like a tiny braid. It\u2019s often used to form sturdy cords, round shapes, or small details in a design.
